Redbacks Baseball & Softball
Welcome to the Redbacks Baseball & Softball website.
We are a Baseball & Softball club supporting adult and youth baseball and adult softball across Essex, East London and East Anglia.
We have adult baseball teams based in Chelmsford, Essex, and adult and youth teams based in Billericay, Essex.
For 2013 the Redbacks are fielding two senior teams. They compete in the British Baseball Federation (BBF) National Baseball league (NBL), the top tier of British Baseball, and Single-A leagues. The senior teams are for players aged 16 upwards.
Our youth teams are for age groups 10-13 years (Bronco) and 13-16 years (Pony) competing in the BBF South Youth leagues.
2013 sees us launching the ‘Little Redbacks‘ for youth players from 4-9 year olds. More information about this can be found on the youth and Little Redbacks pages.
The organisation is also launching softball both in Chelmsford and Billericay during June 2013.
The Redbacks warmly welcome players of all ages and abilities whether starting to play baseball or softball for the first time or highly experienced, and we are actively seeking new players for our senior and youth baseball teams.
