On the evening of Friday 2 December, the Essex Redbacks hosted their second AGM at the Ford County Ground, Chelmsford.
Chairman Matt Jennings opened proceedings with a review of the year, before Secretary Sean Briscomb gave an overview of the development and Treasurer Richard Crabb updated the members of the club’s finances.
Fundraising and Sponsorship officer Bill Sedgwick then addressed the membership of the areas where the club has been successful in securing outside donations of money and equipment. Michael Jones then gave the press review of the year, including suggested strategies for the 2012 season and beyond, that all club members can easily get involved with.
